Emulsogen® HCO 040 is a nonionic solubilizer that is stable in water-alcoholic solutions and compatible with most other ingredients used in cosmetic solutions. It is used for solubilizing etheric oils and fragrances in water-alcoholic solutions and solely water solutions.
General description
Emulsogen HCO 040 is produced by ethoxylation of hydrogenated castor oil. Emulsogen HCO 040 is soluble in water, ethanol, iso-propyl alcohol or n-propanol.
Emulsogen HCO 040, a nonionic solubilizer, is stable in water-alcoholic solutions and compatible with most other ingredients used in cosmetic solutions.
Applications
Emulsogen HCO 040 is used for solubilizing etheric oils and fragrances in water-alcoholic solutions and solely water solutions in amounts of 1 to 2 g for 1 g etheric oil or fragrance.
